Michelle Winslow practices in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice as well as Real Estate. She represents clients with respect to a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including insurance coverage, labor and employment, real estate, and general business dispute actions. Mrs. Winslow plays a leadership role in managing all aspects of the litigation process, including working with clients to evaluate potential liability and developing strategic risk management plans, advising clients on document retention and electronic discovery issues, counseling clients with respect to various business-related issues, drafting briefs and other pleadings, arguing motions in Court, and, when appropriate, preparing and negotiating settlement agreements. She has assumed an active role on trial teams in both federal and state court, participating in all stages of the litigation and post-trial process.
In the counseling arena, Mrs. Winslow has worked with clients from various sectors to address a wide range of labor and employment matters, including compliance with various federal and state employment laws such as FMLA, FLSA, WARN, ADA, ADEA, and COBRA. She has also developed harassment training presentations, prepared employee handbooks and related policies and procedures, and drafted and negotiated numerous employee-related contracts, including confidentiality, non-compete, and separation agreements.
